The packaging of the tuber was good and it wasn't damaged so much. It's took more than 2 weeks care to make it rigorous and start growing proper leaves. Initially thought it will die as it wasn't growing roots but then I introduced clay soil with vermicompost and put it in shallow water. The after few weeks it is growing and have more than ten leaf growing.
Happy with the purchase now waiting for flower bloom. Note all clay soil to settle and then rain water is best for lotus.
